Two beautiful lives whose memory continues to bless communities across Nigeria. This is the story of how their names became a promise — and how that promise became an Initiative.

The Ibitayo Ibitola Osuolale Help Initiative was born from a place of profound love — and profound loss. It is named after two cherished children of the Osuolale family, whose brief but radiant lives left an imprint that no words can fully carry.

In the quiet after grief, Bar. Solomon Olusegun Osuolale and his wife, Mrs Modupe Abidemi Osuolale, made a promise: that the love they had for Ibitayo and Ibitola would not end — it would grow. It would reach other children. Other families. Other lives.

The birth of the Initiative

From a family's love to a community's hope.

What began as personal acts of giving — a school fee paid here, a food parcel delivered there, a widow's rent settled quietly — slowly grew into something bigger than one family could hold alone. Neighbors joined. Friends joined. Then strangers who had only heard the story joined.

And so, in memory of Ibitayo and Ibitola, the Initiative was formally established as a Nigerian non-profit — a home for that love to keep working. Every scholarship, every school bag, every meal distributed, every widow supported carries their names.

The Initiative stands on a simple conviction: that every person — especially the less privileged — deserves the chance to live with dignity, hope and opportunity. It is a work of remembrance. It is also a work of hands, feet and open hearts.
